ACA Appraisal Services
Appraisal and Connoisseur Associates, since 1989 and as an owner of Gallery One, located in Nob Hill Albuquerque, founded in 1972, have been dealing and appraising all matter of Native American arts and crafts. Now largely limiting ourselves to appraisal work, our areas of expertise include: late 19th Century and early 20th Century pottery, including: Santa Clara, San Ildefonso, and San Juan among the northern pueblos; as well as Acoma, Cochiti, Jemez, Isleta, San Felipe, Santo Domingo and Zuni pottery of the southern pueblos. Of course contemporary pottery of all pueblos is currently appraised by Appraisal and Connoisseur Associates. Also appraised are historic and contemporary Navajo rugs, Southwestern Native American jewelry, Native sculptural pieces and Kachinas. A former and still active employee, Deborah Jojola (Jemez/Isleta Native), is currently the director of exhibitions at the Indian Pueblo Cultural center located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. ACA also draws upon the wide expertise of traders and dealers throughout the Southwest.
We can also appraise regional (Taos, Santa Fe & Albuquerque) artworks and national artworks, such as oil and acrylic paintings, as well as fine prints, (lithographs, etchings & serigraphs). Appraisal & Connoisseur Associates also appraises sculpture, glass & weavings. ACA has been appraising antique and collectible furniture since 1989.
